Aha. Oddly enough, GDP - since I just posted one - they kind of bug me. I'm trying to work through my vertical number aversion, as you'll see over the next week.
I feel the reverse way about book spines. Standing on a shelf, the titles should run sideways, so you have to tilt your head to look at them. It interrupts the flow when suddenly there's a spine with text running horizontally.

This number does not even SEEM to be related to the door. The postman did it ...
